The reception is not 24 hours that means that when I was cold during the night, there was no one to ask to give me one extra blanket, just in the morning.
The check out time is until 10 am (!) but as I knew it from the website I was couting with that but what surprised me was when the reception/cleaning lady went to knock on my door 15 minutes before 10 am to tell me that I had to leave the room until 10 (well, well, I can understand that there could be guests that are still sleeping at the time of check out but come on, I had even taken a shover in the morning so I was not really forgetting about the time of the check out or have you just tried to wait until 10.15am and just then start knocking on people´s door??).
I could hear everything from the next room (especially the TV that was on until 2 am and then again before 7 am) and also everybody who was on the corridor and showers...
Well, it is definitely not a place where you get a good sleep (counting also the fact that the reception/cleaning lady starts to clean the rooms from the very morning on so you can also hear everything and more over when you get out of your room you are imediatelly cold because all the windows and doors are wide open).
The hostel is clean, there is Wi-Fi and one computer that guests can use by the reception (however it was just in front of the main door that is usually open so you don´t want to just sit there on the cold).
To start with the good parts the location was great. The hostel is situated in a more working class area of Prague rather than the historical center. To some this may sound bad but its actually one of its biggest pro's of staying here. This means no drunk Stag do's screaming outside your window or expensive city center prices making a stay here easy on the wallet. Getting to any major attraction is easy as there is a tram and metro station situated about 3 minutes walk away but very close so you cannot miss it. Another positive is the fact that there is a supermarket around 10 mins up the road for any shopping needs.
The cons for me would be that the room I was supplied with wasn't a dedicated single room. I booked a room for myself as I am more introverted and was surprised when I was put in a 6 bed dorm by myself. The room felt empty and just pointed out my anti social tenancies even more haha.
Overall I would be happy to stay here in Prague again.
This hostel is the cleanest you ever find!! Good location - beer in the bar next door is 0,95 euros and a good meal in the pub otherside on the road 5-6 euros. It stands on the website that breakfast costs 65 CZK but there wasn't breakfast available during our stay. Or then there were a missunderstaning between us and the lady - she was very nice and helpfull but didn't speak very good English. Anyway I do recommend this to anybody who appriciate clean and cheap stay!

The cheapest accommodation in Prague located in a lower socio economic suburb which at first sounds like a bad thing but actually it's a good thing, the local shops are one third the price of Prague you can get a meal for two for the price of a postage stamp at the local butchers which is one of those places where you have to stand up to eat because they want you to eat and go as they are too popular for you to sit and relax. The local cinema is also cheap, don't judge a book by its cover
A little far from the city center, but next to the metro line (red line) so getting into the city isn't too hard. Very helpful staff, close to a grocery store, kitchen is clean and easy to cook in. Would stay here again
Hostel was in a fairly quiet neighbourhood outside of the city. It was easy to get into the city via the underground, which was a short walk away. It was a fairly basic room but more than adequate, especially at the price. There was a small kitchen, so you could make food. There were also some restaurants close by. The bar closest to the hostel looked quite nice, but was full of biker types. They didn't have much of anything in apart from beer, no orange, no coke, and I don't drink beer. The staff at the hostel didn't speak English, but they were so helpful, drawing diagrams etc to communicate.
We had to take the metro to get to the city, but the hostel was very near the station and also very quiet. The kitchen was tiny although it had a fridge, sink, some dishes, and a hot plate thing. The staff was very friendly and it was pretty clean. There's also a grocery store right off the metro stop, so that was nice. You can pop in for a pastry in the morning for breakfast or grab some food for a quiet dinner in the evening.
I enjoyed my stay here. There were some small negatives such as a very noisy first night and curtains that didn't cover the windows. There was a slight smell of urine on the carpet in the room which was unpleasant but forgivable. On the plus side the was free internet access when available, a nice little kitchen and tasteful if simple decor. The main positive was the cleanliness. All the toilets and showers were immaculately clean and one felt very comfortable using them. CLEANING STAFF 10/10!
It was a very great hostel except for the kitchen witch was very small (just one people can stand in).
It's a good value for money (6€/night!).
We were a group of 6 in a room of 8. The mattress wasn't so good, but we could sleep very good.
Our room had a view on a cemetery and it was good because it was very calm.
The staff was very friendly. During the night there is always someone who speaks English and during the day it's depend...
The location was great! Just 3minutes distance from the subway, 5minutes by walk from a post, pharmacy, supermarket, Italian restaurant and from a cinema.
I really recommend this place.
